This year.. Earth Hour has been turned into a global event where people from not only in our country, but the world.. has all come together to switch off your lights at home or work!
Supported by WWF, the project is aimed at collecting 1 billion supporters around the globe to be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009!
Earth hour began in Sydney, Australia, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour! For more information, log on to http://www.earthhour.org.my/

Initiated by the Leo Club of St.Michael's Institution, Ipoh....We will be celebrating this event with children from the Salvation Army Home @ Jln Kampar on the 28th of March 2008 @ 8.30pm! This is a very important moment for all of us! The gathering starts @ 7.00pm!!!! Registration fee is RM 5.00 only (comes with Dinner). hey guys
this is a really important cause. even so it seems that by turning off your own lights and all electrical appliances does not seem much but then when if we unite then it would 1 way or the other make a difference and create a better understanding and a better place for us to stay in. i would love to join all of you at this event in ipoh but i would have to pass on this time cause of work. aite good luck Leo club of St Micheal and kudos Ln Alan.
